Hi, beautiful souls. I’m Danielle Langin, a life-long poet and writer, and current mama to be. I write about home, belonging, creative expression, and the things that make us wonder what it means to be human. 💐 This is Growing Through It where you’ll find original poetry, personal essays and writing tips.
A poetic reflection about the magic of it all:
What if you let it all be magical? What if you stopped wishing for something better? Something more. Something else. And instead started living fully in the moment you're in right now. And what if you let that moment fill you with magic and poetry? What if the gratitude of it all coursed through you not because you have this, or achieved that, but simply because you're here, breathing, taking in the beauty that exists in this very moment. The beauty of your body, your breath, the Earth, your loved ones, and your ability to feel into the gravity of it all. That is where the magic happens. Not in the goals or the planning or the wishing things were different, or even where you'll end up coming years to come. But right here in the ebb and flow of your breath, and your capacity to love and be loved by those around you. Because in the end that will be the only thing that ever really mattered.
